LED Strip Packaging

LED strips are divided into flexible LED light ribbons and rigid LED light ribbons, with the following differences:


1. Flexible LED light ribbons


FPC is used to make the assembly circuit board and LED paster is used for assembly. The thickness of the product is only 1mm, which does not occupy space; general specifications are 30 lamps, 48 lamps and 60 lamps per meter. Different users prefer different specifications. The product can be cut or extended at will without affecting the luminescence.


FPC material is soft and can be bent, folded and wound arbitrarily. It can move and expand freely in three-dimensional space without breaking. It is suitable for irregular places and places with narrow space. Because it can be bent and wound arbitrarily, it is suitable for any combination of various patterns in advertising decoration.


It is worth mentioning that for flexible LED light ribbons, there are many kinds of materials of FPC itself. The formal FPC used in the market is the FPC of double-sided plate made of calendered copper. Of course, many enterprises blindly pursue the reduction of material cost and adopt the FPC made of electrolyte. The electrolyte FPC is easy to peel off during welding, which directly leads to false welding and dead lamps. In addition, the electrolyte cannot compete with calendered copper in terms of conductivity and flexibility.


2. Rigid LED light ribbons


The PCB hard board is used as the assembly circuit board. The LED can be assembled with patch LED or in-line LED. Different components are used according to different needs.


The advantage of LED hard light strips is that it is easy to fix, and it is convenient to process and install; the disadvantage is that it can not be bent at will and is not suitable for irregular places.


There are many specifications of patch LED for rigid light strips, such as 30 lights, 48 lights and 60 lights per meter; There are 18, 24, 36, 48 lights and other different specifications of in-line LED, including front and side.
